About me

My name is Yvette Moreno, this will be my 16th year teaching. I have completed five years at Canterbury Elementary where I had the honor of being the chess coach for five years. I also taught ten years at PSJA where I was honored with District Teacher of the Year for 2011-2012.
I’m married and have three kiddos that drive me crazy, but I love them to death especially when they wash the dishes. When I’m not being a teacher, a wife, a mom, a chef at “Moreno’s Café” aka my house, I am a WRITER and hope that one day I can invite my students to my book signing at Barns & Noble.
